The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru awards these scholarships to students (*) who are recognized as Outstanding Athletes for representing the PUCP in any of its sports.
This initiative is rooted in our University's values: to provide an education of the highest quality in an environment characterized by pluralism, solidarity, and a commitment to the country's development.
*For students in the Biomedical Engineering program under the PUCP-UPCH joint curriculum, the program will only cover the credits for which they are enrolled at PUCP. Credits for courses at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia will be billed as usual, according to the fee schedule assigned to the student.

Application Requirements
- Be ranked in the top half of your academic unit based on the University's Standardized Academic Performance Coefficient (CRAEst).
- Be a member of one of the university's representative teams and be named a "Standout Athlete" at PUCP*.
- Have earned at least 18 college credits.
- Provide proof of athletic achievements during the period specified in the call for applications.
* The list of outstanding athletes is issued by the Office of Athletic Services.
Term and Renewal
This scholarship program lasts for one (1) regular academic year.
Once this period has ended, the student may apply again if he or she meets the required criteria.
Job Openings
The scholarship program offers a total of two (2) scholarships for athletes per cycle.
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for selecting the winners. It evaluates applicants based on the scholarship program’s requirements, giving special consideration to extraordinary athletic achievements, the type of achievement (individual or team), and the level of competition (national or international).
