The Humanities track is a new program offered by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, whose primary objective is to provide an interdisciplinary humanities education of academic excellence that contributes to the theoretical understanding of various issues affecting the country and the world. The track offers four specializations:

• Honorable Mention in Theoretical and Critical Studies
• Minor in Language and Culture
• Honors in Latin American Studies
• Honorable Mention in Peruvian Studies

Field of work

High school graduates or those with a bachelor's degree in the humanities can pursue careers in:

• Research and University Teaching
• Academic consulting for educational institutions
• Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of Cultural Policies
• Management and protection of cultural heritage, museums, cultural centers, etc.
• University Management and Administration Professional
• Development of cultural projects in government and nongovernmental organizations, as well as in the private sector
• Journalism and the Publishing Industry
