It is an autonomous body whose mission is to organize, conduct, and oversee university electoral processes, as outlined in its corresponding regulations.
It is the highest authority at PUCP in electoral matters. It exercises its functions independently and autonomously.
It is composed of three full professors, two associate professors, one assistant professor, one of the five representatives of the Episcopate to the University Assembly (appointed by the Episcopal Commission for the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru), and three students.
The members of the University Electoral Committee are elected annually by the University Assembly, except for the representative of the Episcopate.
