Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru awards these scholarships to students who have been admitted to one of the basic science programs (Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics) through any of the admission channels for the first regular academic term of the year and who have demonstrated academic achievements related to their field of study.

This initiative is rooted in our University's values: to provide an education of the highest quality in an environment characterized by pluralism, solidarity, and a commitment to the country's development.

Benefits

  • 100% coverage of tuition and fees.

Requirements

  • Have been admitted to the University to study one of the basic science majors (Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics) through any of the admission channels corresponding to the first regular academic term of the year. Students who began their studies in the 2026-1 semester are eligible to participate in the 2026 application cycle.
  • Have achieved outstanding academic results in one of the aforementioned fields during the year immediately preceding your application. These achievements must be documented with the appropriate supporting documents and submitted along with the application form for this scholarship program.

Term and Renewal

The duration of the program (number of semesters covered or the number of credits awarded) will be determined by the Scholarship Committee and specified in the Scholarship Acceptance Letter.

At the end of each academic year, recipients must go through a scholarship renewal process, for which they must maintain the required academic performance (be ranked in the top 20% of their department according to the University’s Standardized Academic Performance Coefficient (CRAest)), remain within the specified grade ranges, and be enrolled in regular academic terms or semesters, among other criteria determined by the Scholarship Committee.
