Since 1969, it has brought together PUCP faculty members engaged in study, research, teaching, and community outreach in the field of law. It also provides faculty for the university’s undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs in law and other fields. Additionally, it hosts visiting professors from various universities abroad who teach courses in law.

Elmer Arce Ortíz
I earned my Doctor of Law degree in 2002 from the University of Cádiz, Spain. I also completed postdoctoral research at the University of Seville, Spain. I have held administrative management positions at PUCP, including Director of the Master’s Program in Labor and Social Security Law (2017–2021) and Academic Director of Pre-Professional Internships at the School of Law (2012–2017). Throughout my professional career, I have held positions in the Peruvian government, including Director General of the Labor Inspectorate at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MTPE) (2011) and Senior Advisor to the Labor Committee of the Congress of the Republic (2016–2017).
