It brings together PUCP faculty members involved in the performing arts. Its goal is to provide a high-quality arts education that is committed to the national context. It also promotes and develops research in and for the performing arts, and shares its methodologies and approaches to reflection and knowledge production.

Gino Luque Bedregal
Playwright, director, and theater researcher. He holds a Ph.D. in Performing Arts from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), and a certificate in Cultural Management from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). He is a senior professor in the Department of Performing Arts. He has served as coordinator of the Linguistics and Literature track in the School of Letters and Humanities; the Theater track in the School of Performing Arts; and the Master’s program in Performing Arts in the Graduate School. His research areas include contemporary theater, theater theory, autofiction, and cultural memory. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal *Lexis*, published by the Department of Humanities at the PUCP; of the scientific committee of the journals *Estudis Escènics*, published by the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona (Spain), and *Dialéctica Escénica*, published by the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (Mexico); and of the creative advisory committee of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research at the PUCP. His work as a playwright has premiered in Lima and various countries throughout the region, and has earned recognition from specialized critics.
