Reclassification on the PUCP 2027 Differentiated Pension Scale

Reclassification is the process by which a student requests an increase in the subsidy percentage on the Pension Scale (see process guidelines). It is carried out through the Student Social Services Platform (PASE).

PASE is an online platform that streamlines the reclassification process from the submission of your application to the receipt of your results, and also allows you to track the status of your application in real time.

A student requesting reclassification must:

  • Be a student in good standing during the 2026-2 semester (enrolled in 12 credits or more).
  • Good academic performance is important, but it is not the only factor.

This request is being made in light of a socioeconomic change in the family that is negatively affecting the household budget, primarily due to:

● Unemployment and a substantial decline in the income of those responsible for managing the household economy.
● Serious health problems caused by diseases with a significant socioeconomic impact.

THIS PROCESS DOES NOT APPLY TO:

  • Students who have been evaluated as part of the 2026-2 Reclassification Process
  • Students ranked at the lowest levels based on their major or admission category, such as students in:
  1. Biomedical Engineering specialty, classified at the minimum level of G4
  2. Adult Plan enrollment category, classified at the minimum level G3
  • Students who are enrolled in a fixed-tuition master's program.
  • Undergraduate students who have or acquire graduate status, or who have earned their bachelor’s degree and have been automatically reclassified to the highest tier of the Scholarship and Tuition Waiver Scale (pursuant to Article 12B of the Regulations on Regular Academic Payments and Rights).

If you have any specific questions, please contact us at decjurada@pucp.pe.

IMPORTANT: Reclassification requests are accepted twice a year—once for each regular semester—and the results are sent to each student’s PUCP email address at the end of each academic semester. The decision takes effect starting the following semester and may be provisional.

2027 Call for Applications: Applications will be accepted exclusively through PASE (see Procedure) beginning Friday, September 11, and ending Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The next application period will begin in April 2027.

According to Article 5 of the Regulations on Payment of Regular Academic Fees, “in the event of falsification, distortion, or omission of information by the student during the Classification, Ex Officio Review, or Reclassification on the Scholarship and Pension Scale, such student shall be reclassified into the highest applicable grade on the Scholarship and Pension Scale, without prejudice to any disciplinary proceedings that may be initiated against them.”
