Classification on the differentiated pension scale

Students are ranked based on the various admission channels through which they were admitted: ITS, First Choice, CEPREPUC, International Baccalaureate, Preferred High School, Biomedical Engineering and Talent Assessment, Re-enrollment, Transfer, and Master’s in Political Science.

Online guidance is available for parents and applicants regarding the application process and document submission through the accountdecjurada@pucp.pe

How is the payment scale determined?

First, the university seeks to determine each family’s ability to pay for education. To this end, the Office of Student Affairs (DAES) and the Office of Social Support Services—which is staffed by a team of specialized social workers—assess the family’s socioeconomic situation.

The grade on the Pension Scale is assigned based on two factors:

  • The family's socioeconomic situation
  • The University's grant-making capacity

Process for Classifying New Students on the Pension Scale

The student's previous school is one of the factors taken into account, but the grade level is not assigned based on the school; rather, it is determined based on the validation of the family's socioeconomic information.

To this end, immediately after the admission results are published, the family of the newly admitted student who wishes to apply for a financial aid grant must enter their socioeconomic information in the Affidavit on the virtual campus. This affidavit is a legal document; therefore, all information provided must be consistent with the principles of truthfulness, transparency, and reliability.

Our university relies on your statement; therefore, it is very important that you provide your full first and last names as listed on your National Identity Card.
