Academic Department of Art and Design

It brings together faculty members in the fields of art, design, and related disciplines. Currently, it consists of the following departments: General Education; Art, Fashion, and Textile Design; Graphic Design; Industrial Design; Sculpture; Printmaking; and Painting. Its functions include addressing the teaching needs of the academic units and promoting faculty members’ research, professional development, and social responsibility.

Victor Enrique Chiroque Landayeta, M.A., professor in the Department of Art and Design at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Specialist in 3D character modeling and animation, digital design, multimedia product development, video games, virtual worlds, and augmented reality applied to educational, social, cultural, and artistic processes. General Coordinator of the AVATAR-PUCP Group, a research group focused on researching, developing, and disseminating interactive technologies.
