Department Head

Architect and Urban Planner. In the field of architectural research and criticism, I am interested in topics that link architecture and society in the contemporary world, such as memory, fear, mentalities, neocolonialism, and issues related to subjectivities and ideology in general. In the field of urban planning, my research and approaches aim to bring citizen decision-making closer to the management of the city, seeking new methodologies and approaches to planning or developing new tools for urban work and decision-making. This applies at the regional, urban, or neighborhood levels. In both cases, theoretical and critical reflection is supported by professional and practical work that allows ideas to be tested against reality and vice versa.
