Affiliated with our Office of the Vice President for Research, it is a transdisciplinary academic platform that seeks to strengthen and promote research, technological and institutional development, and innovation in environmental matters. It achieves this through capacity building, the dissemination of knowledge, and the promotion of interaction among the academic community, decision-makers, and civil society.

Eric Cosio
Biologist with a Master of Science degree in Biology from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and a Ph.D. from Miami University (U.S.). His research focuses on the post-harvest biochemistry of agricultural products and the dynamics of biochemical processes that mobilize carbon in tropical ecosystems. He has received local and international funding for his projects.
