Founded in 2009, the School is an academic unit dedicated to applied research, graduate education, and continuing education. It offers three main academic programs: a Master’s in Political Science and International Relations, a Master’s in Government and Public Policy, and a Ph.D. in Political Science and Government. It also offers various graduate certificate programs, continuing education programs, and specialized courses.

Roxana Barrantes
She holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a degree in economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She currently serves as Director of the PUCP School of Government and Public Policy and as a Senior Professor in the Department of Economics. In the public sector, she is a member of the board of directors of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. She has served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Empresa Petróleos del Perú (PETROPERÚ), Chief of Staff of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM), and a member of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA).
