It houses the country’s largest film archive, consisting primarily of domestic material and, to a lesser extent, foreign moving images, including films in any format, as well as related materials (filmmakers’ archives, iconographic and bibliographic collections, equipment, and more). The film library’s mission is to rescue, preserve, digitize, restore, and disseminate moving images, with a priority on national collections.

He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), where he has served as Academic Coordinator of the Graduate School. He is currently Head of the PUCP Institutional Repository and General Coordinator of the PUCP Film Archive.
