Office of Student Affairs (DAES)

Through its Office of Student Affairs, the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru recognizes the importance of fostering and promoting the holistic well-being and health of all its students. It also values the richness of their experiences, initiatives, questions, and constructive contributions, acknowledging their differences and valuing their individual stories and needs. It focuses its work on complementing their holistic education with services and opportunities that enhance their personal abilities, self-care, civic values, ethics, aspirations, motivations, and desires.

This Office consists of seven departments: Social Support and Outreach, Scholarships, Psychological Well-Being, Athletics, Employability, Health Services, and Student Initiatives.

Sylvana Valdivia Cañotte

Director

Master’s degree in Educational Integration and Innovation in Information and Communication Technologies and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
She has served as Director of Studies and Director of the Elementary Education program in the School of Education at the PUCP; previously, she was Head of the Training Department at the Institute of University Teaching (IDU) at our university.
