Office of Research Promotion (DFI)

It is the operational arm of the Office of the Vice President for Research (VRI). It provides support in the development of various types of projects, such as those carried out by PUCP faculty and students, Innovation + Development projects, projects to be submitted to external funding sources, and projects that will be fully funded by the University.

Director

Ph.D. in Construction and Architectural Technology and Master’s degree in Construction Consulting from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. Master’s degree in Management and Administration of Construction and Real Estate Companies and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the PUCP. Senior Professor in the Department of Engineering at the PUCP. He was recognized as a High-Performance Faculty Member in Research and served as Coordinator of the Research Group on Management and Technology in Building and Civil Engineering Construction (ranked at the top of the 2021 DFI Evaluation). He has won the PUCP Award for Innovation and Best Practices in Teaching. He served as Director of Continuing Education for the School of Science and Engineering and as Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Section. He is currently a recognized researcher in RENACYT (CONCYTEC), a member of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering Council, and a delegate to the PUCP University Assembly. He has professional experience in project management, Lean philosophy, health and safety management, construction project execution, training, and project consulting in both the public and private sectors.
