Academic Office of Social Responsibility (DARS)

A unit at PUCP responsible for designing, promoting, and implementing university social responsibility (USR) initiatives. Its primary objective is to identify and create the appropriate conditions to support students, faculty, and administrative staff in the design and implementation of socially relevant initiatives and projects.

Director

Ph.D. in Psychology from Columbia University; Master’s degree in Cognitive Studies in Education with a concentration in Human Development from the same university; and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from PUCP. Senior professor in the Department of Psychology at PUCP. Coordinator of the project “Being a Teenager in Peru” (a UNICEF-PUCP partnership). Member of the research group on Psychology, Culture, and Gender. Researcher specializing in adolescence with publications on the interaction between human development and sociocultural processes, as well as strategies to enhance teaching and learning processes. She is also an actress and theater director.
