A unit dedicated to promoting an entrepreneurial culture and innovation both within and outside the university community. To that end, it fosters the creation and development of companies that generate value by leveraging knowledge as a way to contribute to the country’s development. It offers various services, including the Fast Entrepreneur Trip, business incubation, and a business clinic; and it organizes events such as Emprende PUCP.

Julio Vela
He holds a degree in industrial engineering from PUCP. He specializes in the development and evaluation of innovation projects, the creation of innovative companies, and information and communication technologies. In his role as executive director of CIDE-PUCP, he has designed and implemented the unit’s operating model, which focuses on transforming entrepreneurs into business leaders.
