Founded in 1947, it is an academic community dedicated to training educators with a solid ethical and democratic foundation and strong values, and it is fully committed to improving the quality of education in the country. Research, reflection, and self-criticism are an important part of its educational model, as they motivate future teachers to propose improvements for the development of their teaching practices and environments.

Ph.D. in Education Sciences. Master’s degree in Educational Planning. Certificate in Self-Assessment of University Programs. Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Senior professor in the Department of Education and dean of the School of Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has served as director of the Master’s Program in Education, executive director of the Center for Educational Research and Services (CISE-PUCP), and head of the Academic Department of Education. She is the coordinator of the Kipus Peru Network and general coordinator of the Network of Deans of Education at Latin American Universities (Redecanedu). She has experience in the administrative and academic management of educational development programs and projects, as well as in university teaching; her research focuses on curriculum and pedagogy, teacher education, and training in research at the undergraduate and graduate levels in education. She is a member of the Research Group on Training and Actors in Educational Research.
