Library System

Intended for: Students, Administrative Staff, Faculty, Companies, and External Organizations

The Library System brings together all of PUCP's libraries and provides infrastructure and services to support the university community's learning, research, and teaching activities.

Located on campus are the “Luis Jaime Cisneros” Central Library, the Academic Innovation Complex Library, the “Alberto Flores Galindo” Social Sciences Library, the Theology Library, and the Center for Oriental Studies Library.

The Library System also includes libraries located off campus (the Centrum Library, the Confucius Institute Library, and the Riva-Agüero Institute Library), as they are all integrated through our CATALOG. We have one of the most extensive collections in the country, as our catalog includes more than 422,000 books, 23,000 theses, 246,000 journals, 14,000 newspapers, and nearly 110,000 online resources (journals, newspapers, monographs, books, and conference proceedings).

Among its services, the library offers the loan of books, magazines, theses, and publications in general for use in the library or at home, depending on the user’s profile; as well as bibliographic alerts, reading rooms, study cubicles for group and individual work, personalized and group counseling, services for users with visual impairments, an Academic Writing Center, and document provision (digitization and publications for teaching).
