Eduardo Ismodes Cascón

He is a senior professor in the Department of Engineering, holds a Ph.D. in Latin American History from Pablo de Olavide University (Seville), a master's degree in Communications, and a degree in mechanical engineering from PUCP.

At our university, he has served as dean of the Graduate School and the School of Science and Engineering, director of Academic Affairs for the School of Science and Engineering, head of the Office of Innovation, and co-founder of E-Quipu, the Center for Innovation and Development, and the Electronic Engineering Specialization.

Ismodes has served as chairman of the board of Sedapal and of the Osinergmin Dispute Resolution Tribunal, as a member of Indecopi’s Commission on Inventions and New Technologies, and as executive director of Concytec, among other positions.

He is a researcher, consultant, and advocate for research, development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Peru. He is also the author of several books and articles on the subject.
