Falando Português Online (Virtual Portuguese Conversation Community) - PUCP

Falando Português Online is a Catholic virtual community for language learners where you can practice Portuguese. It is designed for people ages 14 and older, and students can put their spoken Portuguese skills into practice by sharing experiences—all just a click away from your PC or laptop.

General Objective

Practice and development of oral communication skills in Portuguese.

Organization

The course meets monthly and consists of 9 hours per module:

Module 1: Intermediate Portuguese Online (Recommended for students who have completed a course equivalent to Intermediate Portuguese 3)
Module 2: Advanced Portuguese Online (A level equivalent to passing Portuguese Level 4 or Advanced Portuguese 4 is recommended)

Note: There are no requirements to join this community; the Portuguese levels are merely suggestions, so you can enroll in any of them as many times as you like, since there will be a different conversation topic each month.

Frequency

Monday through Friday (6 sessions, 1.5 hours each)
Saturdays and Sundays (6 sessions, 1.5 hours each)

Degrees and Titles

A virtual Certificate of Participation bearing the name "IDIOMAS CATÓLICA" will be issued free of charge upon first issuance to students who attend at least 75% of the sessions. If a student wishes to obtain a printed certificate, they may do so upon payment of an administrative fee.
