What is it like to teach classes using this method?
You’ll need to connect with your teacher and classmates via theZoom videoconferencing platform at the times and frequency you selected for this term. In this format, your teacher will always be there to support you in real time during class days and hours, helping you learn. So, achieving your goals never stops!
To log in to the Platform, you will receive a link and a password via email from one of our campuses starting the day before classes officially begin.
Technical Requirements
To access this course, you must meet the following technical requirements:
- Fast speed and a reliable connection (2 Mbps download speed and 512 Kbps or higher upload speed)
- Processor: 2 GHz CPU or higher, 2 GB of RAM or more, and Windows 7, 8, or 10, or Mac OS X
- Equipment: Mouse, keyboard, headset with microphone, sound card, camera.
- Screen resolution: 1080 x 1024 or higher
- Firewall Port: 1935 open (On most computers, this port is open by default.)

If your child has no prior knowledge of the language, they will need to start with the first cycle of the basic level for Juniors.To do so,please review theclass schedule, choose the frequency and time slot for your child’s enrollment, and write to the location where they wish to study[See location email addresses here]
Once you have registered, to join your class at the scheduled time and frequency, the Zoom class access code will be sent to you one day before classes begin.
Students with current standing:
A) If you are a Junior student with a current classification and have the old study materials (Smart Choice), you must register through thelanguage extranet, select the course you are supposed to take, and purchase the new virtual study materials (Metro), since you will no longer be able to continue studying with the old materials.
If you purchased online study materials (Metro), please remember thatstarting the day beforeclassesofficially begin, we will email you the codes you need to access the materials online. Always check your spam or junk folder if you can't find the email.
Once you have registered, to join your class at the scheduled time and frequency, the Zoom class access code will be sent to you one day before classes begin.
B) If you are a student with a current standing and were enrolled in the former Junior Basic 11 and Junior Basic 12 courses,please note that these courses are no longer offered due to a new curriculum structure. To complete your registration, please send an email to the campus where you last enrolled[See campus email addresses here]so that a service representative can enroll you in the new Junior Plus 1 and help you purchase the new course materials (Metro).
