VEO is a space for exploring and utilizing audiovisual production technologies, as well as for fostering multidisciplinary work and creative processes among the PUCP community and the general public.
Sponsored and managed by the Office of the Vice President for Administration, VEO is equipped with the most advanced technology available on the local market for producing audiovisual content in various formats and resolutions.
It offers PUCP’s academic units, faculty, and researchers its services in video production, 360° image capture, and aerial shots using drones. In addition, it makes its OBS (One Button Studio) system available to the university community—a simplified recording studio that allows users to produce high-quality videos without needing technical expertise to operate cameras, lights, or microphones—as well as its recording studio, which is soundproofed and features a cyclorama and chroma key on three walls and the floor.
Thanks to these tools, it is possible to record online courses, instructional materials, and audiovisual resources that complement classes and programs, among other things.
VEO's goal is to support the use of innovative resources in teaching and research.
