Profesor en la Sección Física del Departamento Académico de Ciencias, con doctorado y especialización en Ingeniería y Ciencias de los Materiales. Especialista en análisis avanzado de materiales, incluyendo estructura, morfología y propiedades ópticas, mecánicas, eléctricas y tribológicas. Su principal línea de investigación se centra en el desarrollo y modificación de superficies, películas delgadas y materiales 2D para aplicaciones en ingeniería biomédica y otras áreas de tecnologías avanzadas. Su experiencia abarca técnicas de vanguardia como pulverización catódica y tratamiento de superficies con plasma, con un enfoque en biocompatibilidad, la protección contra desgaste y contra la corrosión.
