I am a Researcher and Full-time Contract Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). I hold a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa and an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering (Cum Laude) from the same institution. My research focuses on Machine Learning, Federated Learning, and Explainable AI from a distributed systems perspective. I design federated and explainable learning and clustering algorithms, ensuring robust execution in real-world settings, often using actor-based architectures in Erlang. With over 10 years of industry experience as a Software Architect and Technical Lead, I build scalable, production-ready systems, with expertise in AWS, backend development, and performance optimization.
