Se calcula que recorrer este tramo tomar\u00e1 3 meses y que adem\u00e1s pasar\u00e1 por la famosa <a href=\"index.php?tmpl=articulo&amp;id=880\" target=\"_blank\">isla de Pl\u00e1stico del Pac\u00edfico Norte<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>El aventurero,\u00a0 ecologista y l\u00edder de la expedici\u00f3n <strong>David de Rothschild <\/strong>so\u00f1\u00f3 con esta la idea de un velero completamente reciclable luego de leer un reporte de las Naciones Unidas acerca de los ecosistemas oce\u00e1nicos.<\/p>\n<p>Las <strong>botellas del Plastiki <\/strong>est\u00e1n empaquetadas en una estructura tal, que le brindan el 68% de la flotabilidad al bote, que adem\u00e1s usa s\u00f3lo fuentes de energ\u00eda renovable como la solar, la e\u00f3lica y turbinas de mar.
