Los autores, que informan sobre su invento en la revista Nature, esperan que el material pueda ayudar en el dise\u00f1o de <strong>alternativas ecol\u00f3gicas para los pl\u00e1sticos<\/strong> que dependen del petr\u00f3leo en su fabricaci\u00f3n y dise\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>El hidrogel transparente, dise\u00f1ado por el equipo de Takuzo Aida, est\u00e1 compuesto por una <strong>mezcla de agua y arcilla con una peque\u00f1a cantidad de componentes org\u00e1nicos<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, puede amoldarse<strong> <\/strong>en objetos independientes que retienen su forma. Las superficies cortadas tambi\u00e9n pueden unirse, lo que permite la construcci\u00f3n de formas m\u00e1s complejas.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo material muestra que los materiales basados en agua se mantienen unidos por v\u00ednculos no covalentes que pueden ser fuertes a nivel mec\u00e1nico, proporcionando muchas aplicaciones interesantes.
