Introduction

The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú is a community of teachers, undergraduate and postgraduate students, whose mission is the formation of qualified professionals with a high level of academic attainment. Founded in 1917, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú is the oldest-established private higher educational institution in Peru. Located on a 43-hectare campus and with a student population of more than 17,000, the University’s teachers, students and graduates are dedicated to the achievement of the highest standards in research and academic work, projecting their work towards the entire national community.

Our University has a School of Special Studies, which enables students from foreign or Peruvian universities who wish to extend their knowledge to register on regular or special courses offered by the University. This registration is for a maximum of two semesters and does not lead to a degree or title. However students who are interested can obtain the Certificate of Peruvian Studies.
