PUCPAssigned and Available OpeningsLa Primera Opción ® (First Choice), Evaluation of Talent and the Exoneration for First or Second in Class are processes of admission that offer a set number of openings for General Studies - Sciences, General Studies - Arts, the School of Architecture and Urbanism, the School of Art and the School of Education. In the case of the last two schools, openings are only available for the first academic semester. On the other hand, the General Studies - Sciences, the General Studies - Arts programs and the School of Architecture and Urbanism openings are made available for both the first and second academic semesters.Although some of these admissions processes may take place on the same day and use the same evaluations, each process has its own openings, which means that the minimum scores necessary for entry to the same academic unit may vary by process. It is important to note that, for each admission process, applicants compete for the available openings by taking the evaluation exams that the University has specified in its informational brochures and on its Web site. Upon completion of the evaluation and grading process, each applicant will be assigned a score. The scores will then be listed in order of merit. The available openings for each admission process are assigned strictly on the basis of order of merit, until all available openings are filled. |
