On-Campus Services

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers the student community a variety of easily-accessible on-campus services so as to guarantee the full experience of university life.

Archive
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru Archive collects, preserves, organizes and serves documents of importance, produced or received by the University, with the purpose of strengthening its identity and contributing to the operation of the institution.

Auditoriums
The Pontifical Catholic University has a number of well-equipped auditoriums that can be used for lectures, concerts, seminars and other cultural events. The largest of these is the Law Auditorium (370 people).

Banks and ATMs
A branch of the Banco Continental bank is located on campus, as well as three ATMs - two belonging to the same bank, the first located next to the central garden and the second at the far-western end of campus, and one from the Banco de Credito, located near the main entrance.

Book Bank
Service that allows the PUCP students to use books throughout the semester, allowing them to better plan their studies, having at their disposal the texts they need at home and at any time. Language books and literary works are offered, and used books are sold at a discount.

Libraries
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers an extensive library service that includes collections of art and audiovisual material. There are nine libraries on campus, the main one being the Central Library, with online databases and catalogues.

Chapel
Catholic values are very present in university life. Mass is celebrated daily in the University's chapel, which also serves as a permanent place for prayer and reflection, as well as providing religious counseling.

Document Centers
In addition to the library services, the University offers two newspaper and periodicals libraries, as well as six document centers, that include over half a million books and periodicals. Access to many of these periodicals is offered online.

Dining halls, Cafeterias and Snack Shops
There are four dining halls and four cafeterias on the university campus. These are governed by the regulations of the Food Services Executive Committee (CESA) and are supervised and controlled by the University's nutritionists.

Medical Emergencies
The Health Services provides free medical care to the university community, with highly-qualified professionals, offering medical examinations, complementary tests and auxiliary services. The campus also has a first-aid center.

Flower Shop
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers the services of a flower shop that sells flowers, grown on the campus itself, and flower arrangements. The store is located behind the entrance to the sports area.

Photocopies
In most of the schools, as well as at the Central Library, photocopy services are offered at economical prices. There are thirteen shops which offer, in addition to photocopying, services such as book binding, spiral binding, lamination, etc.

Hotspots
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru offers 46 hotspots, or wireless internet access points, strategically distributed throughout campus and available to the university community at large. The service is completely free.

Sports Facilities
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru provides modern sports facilities, the most important of which is the Sports Coliseum. The university offers its community the opportunity to participate in over twenty different sports

Laboratories
The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru possesses modern laboratories, devoted to the different specialties, so as to ensure the best education for its students, allow research projects to be conducted and permit the offering of services to third parties.

PUCP Bookstore
The Publishing Fund administers the on-campus PUCP Bookstore, which offers University publications, as well as periodicals and books of academic interest. It also sells university-branded merchandise and other promotional items

Art Stationary Store
Located next to the School of Art, this shop sells a wide variety of stationery and supplies for the various university specialties, especially for the Engineering, Art and Architecture majors.

Treasury
Payments can be made here for bills, applications, registration, certificates, etc., as well as picking up and cashing checks issued by the University. There is also a branch located behind the Engineering Study Lounge.
