It also continues to monitor the validity of the aid that has been granted.
Services ProvidedUniversity LoanThe Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, as part of its continuing efforts to permit students facing economic difficulties to continue their studies, offers the “R.P. Jorge Dintilhac SS.CC. University Loans”. These loans are awarded only to students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance throughout their studies. Scholarships The "Luis Carlos Rodrigo Mazuré" Scholarships were created in 1992 by way of an agreement signed between the University and the "Rodrigo, Elias & Medrano, Abogados" law firm. The goal of these scholarships is to stimulate the academic performance of law students with insufficient financial resources to cover their own educational costs. Master’s Program Scholarships The Graduate School, through the coordinator’s office of each self-financed master’s program, offers a limited number of scholarships, as allowed by the budgets of these same programs. These scholarships are awarded to those students who, having shown excellence in their academic performance, also demonstrate having financial need. Reclassification on the Tuition-Fee and Scholarship Scale Students who consider themselves unable to continue paying at the tuition payment level at which they were classified, and who are able to provide evidence of the same, may request to be reclassified. Reclassification for New Students New students may request reclassification if they are unable to assume the costs at the fee level to which they were assigned due to changes in their personal situation or should they have not been able, due to reasons of force majeure, to present all of the necessary supporting evidence at the time of classification. Readmission All students wishing to be readmitted to the University after an interruption in their studies of two or more consecutive semesters, must be go through the process of classification on the tuition-fee scale as the first step in the readmission process. Periodic Review The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru periodically reviews the socio-economic situation of its students in order to provide a classification that is equitable, that corresponds to their current situation and that provides a balanced compensation for the services provided by the University for the student’s human and professional formation. |
