PUCPIn PeruStudent academic exchange program between the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the Universidad de Lima, the Universidad del Pacifico and the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.OverviewThe Student Academic Exchange Program began in 1997, with the establishment of the Consortium of Universities, which includes the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the University of Lima (Universidad de Lima), the University of the Pacific (Universidad del Pacifico) and the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia). This program allows bachelor's-level students at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru to access academic services offered by the other universities, without any additional cost. In other words, a PUCP student may enroll in courses offered at the other universities. These courses, should they be deemed appropriate, can then be validated as part of their PUCP studies. Once enrolled through the Consortium, the student will have access, during the enrollment period, to the installations (libraries, laboratories, workshops, teaching materials, cultural activities, etc.) and services available at the other universities. The Consortium of Universities has a Student Academic Exchange Commission, consisting of a coordinator from each university, which is responsible for the academic and operational aspects of the program. Each coordinator also serves as a permanent liaison with the deans and students at their own institution, as well as with the coordinators from the other three universities. |
