Contemporary dance is one of the artistic expressions supported by PUCP. The Andanzas group carries out choreographic research and education at the professional level.
PUCP Cultural Center (CCPUCP)
Center serving as a bridge between the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the community; created in 1994 with the purpose of promoting and disseminating, in a modern building located in San Isidro, different cultural expressions, such as theater and the plastic arts.
Center for the Study, Research and Dissemination of Latin American Music (CEMDLAT)
Center that promotes the knowledge, dissemination and appreciation of Latin American music. Founded in 1994, it encourages lines of work based on a high-level articulated approach that considers both academic and artistic elements.
Music and Dance Center (CEMDUC)
Peruvian music and dance group, with the participation of members of the university community, in a display of creativity and discipline, that allows the experience of feelings and emotions that affirm the personal and collective identity.
Ethnomusicology Institute (IDE)
Institute that works to preserve and revitalize the cultural heritage of the aboriginal and mestizo populations in the Andean countries (Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia) through the audiovisual and contextualized study and documentation of their musical expressions
Riva-Agüero Institute (IRA)
Community of researchers who work with and disseminate topics in Archeology, Art and Popular Culture, Law, Philosophy, History, Language and Literature, with the purpose of contributing to a comprehensive understanding of Peru. They are located in downtown Lima.
Catholic University Theater (TUC)
Center specializing in theater and which seeks to train professional actors, stages works and carries out research regarding topics related to theater.
